Activate Solidarity Awareness

This Strategic Line focuses on designing and formulating projects that outline strategies and involve activities to provide wellbeing to families, children, the elderly, people with disabilities, individuals affected by natural disasters, and residents of rural and remote communities nationally and internationally, such as farmers, Afro-descendants, and Indigenous populations.

Through this line of humanitarian aid, the Foundation primarily seeks to bring joy, hope, and practical solutions to community challenges. This involves not only delivering assistance but also transforming lives by teaching values.

« Help Us Help » aligns with Dr María Luisa Piraquive’s objective of offering a helping hand during difficult times through responsible humanitarian assistance. It aims to strengthen values within vulnerable communities and carry out committed, well-coordinated efforts, resulting in activating solidarity awareness, which aligns with the Foundation’s mission.

The Fundación Internacional María Luisa de Moreno develops the « Help Us Help » Strategic Line through three programmes:

  • Support Days
  • Building Homes

Programmes of Help Us Help

Health Brigades Programme

This programme develops the coordination and formation of support networks to deliver basic and specialised healthcare services to populations located in geographically remote areas with limited access to these services.

Support Days Programme

This programme is based on a social strategy of providing humanitarian aid and donations to vulnerable communities on a large scale. It addresses basic needs through corporate volunteering and educational sessions while accompanying populations with a sense of solidarity and hope.

This programme offers vulnerable families in rural or urban areas facing immediate needs the opportunity to have a dignified home. It includes the construction of the home and its complete furnishing.
