What does the Foundation do?
International Maria Luisa de Moreno Foundation
Through the implementation of human development programs, the María Luisa de Moreno International Foundation works for vulnerable communities by applying social intervention models that seek to transform individuals, generally using the “Discovering Capacity, an Opportunity” method, authored by Dr. María Luisa Piraquive.
Accordingly, it develops its social work through three strategic lines focused on education, humanitarian aid, social well-being, entrepreneurship, and productivity. Its work has been replicated with similar foundations and social organizations in countries such as Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, England, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Switzerland. It has also worked in other countries such as Bolivia, and from England and Switzerland, the Foundation managed significant aid for vulnerable beneficiary communities in Bamenda (Cameroon) in Africa, as well as for the cities of Bangalore in India and Shanghai in China.
